Doxie XS - mainly for puppies, may be loose in the beginning but should fit for a few months, depends on how quickly your pup grows. Doxie XS can also fit very small adult normally under 4kg (9 pounds).
Doxie S - standard Doxie adult size, fits most mini dachshunds with weights up to 6kg (13 lbs).
Doxie M - tweenie size, fits most larger size mini dachshunds with weights between 6kg (13 lbs) to 7.5kg (16.5 lbs)
Doxie M short is a tweenie size dachshund with a wider body and a shorter body length.
Doxie L is for standard size dachshunds or corgis between 9 - 12 kg (20 - 26 lbs).
How to measure:
Measure your dog when they are up straight.
Neck - circumference of the neck with 2 fingers space
Chest - circumference of the widest part of their chest
Body Length - from lower neck to top of their tail
What size should I choose?
Chest is the most important part, then it is the length. All our sweaters should fit the maximum size comfortably. If your dog is in-between sizes, please pick the larger size for a slightly oversized fit. If your dog is fluffy, please allocate space for their fur when you measure.
