Dog Clothing size charts

We offer a number of dog clothing options and each of them is slightly different in size. You will find a size chart on each product page for more accurate information to choose the right size.

The sizes we offer are based on our experience dressing over hundreds of dachshunds, whether it's a puppy, miniature, tweenie, a standard size dachshund or a dachshund mix. If you cannot find your size here or unsure about which size you should choose, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

As a rule of thumb, here is a quick reference:

dachshund puppies, or very small size dachshund adults

miniature dachshunds (~ 12 lbs or 5.5 kg)
MS
miniature dachshunds with wider chests but shorter bodies
( ~ 18 lbs or 8.5 kg)
M
larger size miniature dachshunds (tweenies) (~18 lbs or 8.5 kg)
L
standard size dachshunds or corgis (~26 lbs or 12 kg)

 

NOTE: weight is only a reference, please refer to the actual measurements for the right size. We have seen multiple times where two dogs only have 2 lbs difference but they wear different sizes.

How to measure your dog? 

Measure your dog when they are up straight.

Neck - circumference of the neck (the widest part of the neck, usually the same as your collar's size) 

Chest - circumference of the widest part of the chest 

Body Length - from lower neck to top of their tail
